Our mission is to provide quality in product and service and to be recognized as the best service provider within our industry and the clients we serve.

Our History

Park Vending, Inc. originated in a garage in Villa Park, Illinois during the early 1960’s. We started with a handful of instant coffee machines, which were purchased used from a large vendor. During these early years, the vending industry experienced rapid technological advancements. As fast as manufacturers were creating new equipment, the larger companies were replacing their existing equipment. This led to a surplus of used equipment, which Park Vending purchased, refurbished and placed in existing and new locations. The machines were serviced on weekends and evenings.

During the late 1960’s, Park Vending expanded from instant coffee machines to hot beverage units dispensing fresh brew coffee, hot chocolate, soup and tea. Candy, snack and cold cup soda machines were also added. During these early years, we utilized second generation equipment as compared to the large vending companies. This however, did not impair our ability to compete, because we offered superior service and a dedication to building a lasting partnership with our customers. We have always found that our commitment to service ranks number one with our customers.

During the early 1970’s, Park Vending expanded its product line to include pastry, bagged snacks and fresh food. To house our expanding operations, in 1975 we purchased the vacant Reeber Canning Factory of Eola, Illinois (between Naperville and Aurora) dating back to the early 1900’s. Park Vending moved into one section (about 5,500 square feet) with its offices, shop and warehouse. A few years later the decision was made to renovate the next section of the building for a commissary and garage for the trucks. We operated from this facility for the next twenty years.

In 1995 additional space was again required to accommodate the expanding operation. The vacant Kroger Food & Drug of Aurora, Illinois was to become home of our current operation. With a total of 31,000 square feet, there was space for the current business and room for expansion.

2021

Added feature to accept cash as well as cashless at our Go-to Market locations.

2019

Accepted all forms of mobile payments including Google Wallet, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, or Apple Pay. To use this feature, the consumer would simply hold a compatible cell phone in front of the reader; payment will be deducted automatically and the transaction will be complete.

2017

Introduced our micro market concept which is a small, self-contained, convenience store with a self-serve kiosk checkout.

2010

Began to implement cashless technology to allow credit and debit purchases.

2005

Technicians equipped with tablets to better analyze service history on-site, allowing informed repairs.

2001

Introduced innovative healthy vending program.

1995

Moved headquarters to the vacant Kroger Food & Drug of Aurora, Illinois. Current facility has 31,000 square feet of space for expansion.

1978

Expanded renovation of the next section of the building for a commissary and garage for the trucks.

1975

Purchased the vacant Reeber Canning Factory of Eola, Illinois. Operation expanded to 5,500 square feet.

1972
